DAY - 2
Kolkata Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, our representative picks you up from your hotel at approximately 9.30 am; time may vary as per your preference. First, you are taken to the Mother Teresa's House to view her tomb and then to Nirmal Hriday. It is this place where Mother Teresa lived with her sisters to serve people. Our next trip is to the famous Howrah Bridge, also known as the Rabindra Setu. It is the third longest bridge in the world and remains busy almost throughout the day. Built over the sacred Ganges, the river looks beautiful from the bridge. Now we move towards the oldest building of the British rule in the city, the St. John’s church. Near the church lies the grave of Job Charnock, who is the founder of the city. It is a stone and brick structure with the beautiful interior; built of wood and marble. You can see the large paintings of the Last Supper on the walls. It is also significant as it contains the round table on which the Charter of Calcutta was signed. Horse Ride at Victoria (Optional) Our next trip is to the exquisitely designed Marble Palace. Lying in the midst of a lush green meadow with artistic sculptures, this building is a treasure house of antiques, like curious from China and paintings of Ruben. Our trip ends with a visit to the majestic Victoria Memorial; a marble structure built in memory of Queen Victoria. It is a blend of Mughal and British architecture. At present, it is a museum which exhibits paintings, miniatures, statues, and books, through which people can get an in-depth knowledge of Indian history. As the one day tour comes to an end, our representative escorts you to your hotel.

Kolkata to Bagdogra fly and travel to Darjeeling

Today after breakfast, we check out from the hotel and proceed to Baghdogra by flight You will be met by our local representative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Darjeeling (6710 Ft / 2046 Mts, 100 Kms / 03 to 04 Hrs). Check-in and overnight at Hotel.

Darjeeling Local Sight Seeing

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchanzanga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back,visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast, go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included & will be approx INR 180.00 per person) Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Ava Art Gallery & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Darjeeling to Pelling

After breakfast, proceed to Pelling (5500 Ft / 1675 Mts, 125 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Check-in and Overnight in Hotel.

DAY - 6
Pelling - Yuksom Excursion

After breakfast, we drive to Yuksom (5840 Ft / 1780 Mts, 35 Kms / 02 Hrs). On the way view panoramic sightseeing of Darap Village,& Kanchanjunga Waterfall, Rimbi Waterfall & Hydro Project. Khecheopalri Lake (6000 Ft / 1829 Mts), it is one of the sacred Buddhist mountain lakes and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. The myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird. A further drive takes you to Yuksom (the meeting place of three monks) - the first capital of Sikkim. This was the place where the first Chogyal (a ruling dynasty in Sikkim) was crowned. Evening Back to Pelling and Overnight at Hotel.

DAY - 7
Pelling to Gangtok

After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5412 Ft / 1650 Mts,116 Kms / 05 to 06 Hrs). Afternoon go for a half day (04 hrs) sightseeing covering Jhakri Water Falls along with Do-rul Chhorten, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday) and Flower Show Overnight at Hotel.

DAY - 8
Gangtok

After breakfast start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400 Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms in 3 Hrs one way from Gangtok) situated at a height of 12400 Ft / 3780 Mts / 43 Kms in 3 Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and overnight at Hotel. (In case of landslide or due to any other reason, if Tshangu Lake is closed, then an alternate sightseeing will be provided) NOTE** NRI, OCI, PIO Card holder & Foreign National are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass. They are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 02 & above in number to visit Tshangu Lake. For Tshangu Lake & Nathula Pass there is no refund, after the permit is confirmed by Sikkim Tourism, due to whatsoever reason (Landslide, Heavy rainfall, VIP Movement, Health issue etc).

Delhi Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, we proceed for Delhi local sightseeing, capital city of independent India. Seven cities have existed here since the 10th Century and it has been ruled over by Rajputs, Turks, Afghans, Mughals and the Britishers. Delhi is two cities in one. The first is the Old Delhi of the Mughals, created by Shah Jahan and is still a medieval palace of forts, mosques, and bazaars whilst the second is New Delhi. After relax and freshen up, board your coach to explore Old and New Delhi, a city truly full of fascinating contrasts, where by day, temples are packed with the devout, and by night, hotel discos are packed with the affluent. Visit Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, built at the site of his cremation on the banks of the Yamuna River. Drive past the Red Fort and continue to the Jama Masjid, site of an exquisite mosque in red sandstone and marble. Completed in 1656 after six years of work by 5,000 laborers, it is considered one of the loveliest houses of worship in the world. This afternoon you will visit New Delhi, which reflects the legacy the British left behind. Whereas the walled old city is all tradition in all its facets, New Delhi is a city trying to live up to the best of 21st century standards. Your tour to New Delhi begins with a visit to the Qutub Minar, the 234-foot high tower made of sandstone, known as the seventh wonder of Hindustan and the tallest stone tower in India and a wonderful example of Indo-Islamic architecture, complete with terra-cotta frills. At its foot lies the Quwwat-ul-Islam Masjid, the first Muslim mosque in India erected in the 12th century on the site of a Hindu temple, from materials salvaged from 27 demolished Hindu and Jain shrines a monument built by Edwin Lutyens to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War and the Afghan Wars, to the Parliament building and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, the President's residence. DAY - 11
Delhi to Agra

Today we proceed to Agra by road (5hrs.) On arrival at Agra, checkin to your pre-booked hotel and visit the beauty of Taj Mahal – “the seventh wonder of the world” at the time of sunrise and fall in love with its beauty for a lifetime. This alluring white marble monument with intricate designs in its interiors never fails to enchant a visitor. Later visit the Pearl Mosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.

DAY - 12
Agra to Jaipur (Via Fatehpur Sikri)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jaipur, en route visiting the Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city, built by the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar as his capital and palace in the late 16th century. On arrival at Jaipur, check into the hotel and relax. Jaipur was also known as the Pink City. Jaipur was designed by royalty and has delighted visitors for centuries with its pink-hued Golden Triangle tour buildings, wonderful bazaars and rainbow of bright colors dancing along hectic streets. Jaipur is a very famous tourist destination in India for its forts and monuments which reflect its glorious past.

DAY - 13
Jaipur Local Sightseeing

The day begins with an excursion to the Amber Fort which is accompanied with the exciting joy ride on an elephant. The afternoon remains busy with the city tour featuring City Palace along with the Royal Observatory and Hawa Mahal. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY - 14
Jaipur to Delhi & Fly to Varanasi

Today we depart early from Jaipur (10 AM) and proceed to Delhi. On Arrival at Delhi Airport, we fly toward Varanasi. Reach Varanasi at late evening. Check-In to your pre booked hotel and overnight at Varanasi.

DAY - 15
Varanasi Local Sightseeing

After Breakfast, we will enjoy a day trip to Sarnath, a religious Buddhist site. In the afternoon,city tour of Varanasi covering - Alamgir Mosque or Beni Madhav Ka Darera, Dasaswamedh Ghat and The Bharat Mata Temple.In the evening we will visit the banks of Ganges for Ganga Aarti. Varanasi to Mumbai by Flight

Mumbai to Aurangabad

Today the day is free for leisure. Check out from the hotel at 1200 noon and depart for Aurangabad by flight. Arrival at Aurangabad in the evening. Check in at hotel. Overnight at Aurangabad.

DAY - 18
Ellora Caves

After breakfast, we visit Ellora Caves. Ellora Caves are a World Heritage Site which is known to house beautiful carvings which present great workmanship. The place truly reflects the religious harmony which prevailed during the 5th and 11th century in India. After sightseeing at Ellora Caves, visit other historical attractions of the place like Daulatbad Fort and Bibi Ka Maqbara. Have a glance at the glorious past of the country. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel. Overnight at Aurangabad

DAY - 19
Ajanta Caves & Return to Mumbai

After you have your breakfast, you head towards Ajanta Caves at 8.00 AM. Ajanta Caves is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is famous for its rock cut caves and beautiful paintings which date back to the 2nd Century BC. These caves are considered the finest surviving examples of Indian Art. This attraction is a must-visit for history buffs, photo fanatics and experience seekers. Ajanta Caves are around 100 km from Aurangabad city. As you reach the caves, explore the past of the country. Later we depart for Mumbai from Aurangabad. Mumbai was given the name "City of Dreams" owing to the tremendous opportunity it holds, mainly in Hindi cinema. The city is the capital of Maharashtra and overlooks the gamboling waves of the Arabian Sea. Its cityscape might remind you of that of New York but along with the bustling nooks, Mumbai has clung on to its heritage and history and takes immense pride in all of that. It is unarguable that this very city gives a cut-throat competition to even the most developed cities worldwide, let alone of India. Overnight at Mumbai

DAY - 20
Mumbai Local Sightseeing

Have your breakfast in the morning and proceed for Mumbai sightseeing session, which includes Elephanta Caves, Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden, Juhu Beach, Gateway of India and Marine Drive. Elephanta cave is located in Gharapuri (The City of Caves), approximately ten kilometers away from Mumbai Harbor. The caves consist mainly of two groups- Hindu Caves (consisting if five caves) and Buddhist Caves (consisting of two caves). This rock-cut architecture adopted for the caves is datable to a time between 5th and 8th century. However an apt date of its construction is yet a mystery but historians have concluded them to the time when Mauryan rulers were defeated by Badami Chalukyas in 635 AD. Back then, the Elephanta was the capital of Konkan Mauryas and was called Puri or Purika. The caves today are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Prince of Wales Museum is also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya. It was founded in 20th century in order to commemorate the visit of Prince Wales. There are about 50000 exhibits inside the museum divided into three categories- Art, Archeology and Natural History. Artifacts and relics of Indus Valley Civilization, Guptas, Mauryas, Rashtrakutas, Chalukyas and others are put here for public display. Other than this, you can behold beautiful prints, an illustration of different wildlife species, paintings, manuscripts etc. Just a few kilometers away from the museum is where the landmark of Mumbai stands, The Gateway of India. This structure was built in order to commemorate the visit of Their Majesties King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. Take a leisure stroll in the Hanging Garden, which is perched at the top of Malabar Hill, overlooking the beautiful Arabian Sea. This manicured terrace garden is festooned with a huge variety of plants and flower species. Juhu Beach, the popular beach of Mumbai is thronged with visitors. Some of Mumbai’s best street food and restaurants are located here. Marine drive is located in the heart of Mumbai, just beside a busy road. But the horns and screeches of city’s road don’t really interrupt the serenity that is attained here while sipping a cup of coffee and just simply unwinding. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Mumbai to Cochin & Travel to Thekkady

Today we depart for Cochin by flight. On arrival meet and greet at the airport. Leave by road towards Periyar National Park in Thekkady. In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake and explore the large variety of wildlife species that inhabit this national park. After wildlife sightseeing, return back to the hotel for night stay.

DAY - 22
Periyar Local Sightseeing

Post breakfast, head towards Periyar. On reaching, enjoy the boat safari on the Periyar lake. While enjoying the boat safari get a glimpse of monkeys, elephants, and monkeys and quite a lot of unique birds. After the refreshing cruise takes a walk in some of the spice gardens presents around the city. The trip covers spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, vanilla, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, Ayurvedic herbs etc. Thekkady is the spice capital of the world, over twelve varieties of spices are cultivated in Thekkady and its neighboring villages. Thekkady to Kumarakom

Next day in the morning after breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom. Check-in at one of our listed hotels. Rest and relax for a while before driving to the coast situated on the banks of Vembanad lake. Enjoy a boat ride to reach Coconut lagoon (optional), located at the banks of Kavanar River. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Kumarakom to Alleppey Houseboat

Take your breakfast and check-in to the waiting houseboat. The Kerala backwaters have been known for their mesmerizing and alluring charms spread across the whole area. Alleppey to Cochin & Fly to Chennai and from Chennai we travel to Pondicherry

Pondicherry

On this day, you explore the attractions of Pondicherry. Drive to Gingee to witness the magnificent Vijayanagar Fort, built during the 15th century. Later, drive back to Pondicherry and in the afternoon, pay a visit to the Aurobindo Ashram, founded by Sri Aurobindo, a Bengali philosopher. The establishment of this ashram dates back to the early 20th century. Thereafter, reach your hotel. You may take rest or if time permits, you may take gradual walks down the streets. Pondicherry to Chennai Drop
